Financial Reports
In early 2021, it was registered only in France as an association under the name “Plateforme française de Protection des Lanceurs d’Alerte en Afrique”. It currently has an Equivalency Determination in the NGO source repository. This means that it is recognised that PPLAAF organises and operates in accordance with guidelines that U.S. tax authorities require for public charities. Except for certain of its activities in Southern Africa which are supported through PPLAAF’s local fiscal agents Democracy Works Foundation and OpenSecrets, all its activities are funded through PPLAAF in France.
