PPLAAF understood my situation. Their presence in my life offered me something that no amount of money could ever buy – they gave me back my sanity and preserved it when I would lose it. For people considering taking brave actions as I did, the best lesson that I can impart is this – you will need people around you that you can depend on, trust and talk to consistently. I found a sanctuary in PPLAAF.
Going after the Russians isn’t easy. I almost paid the price with my life. If today I’ve succeeded in alerting national and international opinion to the cogs of Russian disinformation in the Central African Republic, it is thanks to PPLAAF’s determination to help me socially, administratively and above all in terms of security. Indeed, without PPLAAF’s help, I wouldn’t have been able to blow the whistle.
In my country, I could not have imagined that I would ever be able to expose the wrongdoings of people who, rather than solving the problems faced by the population, are looting and selling off the country’s wealth. When I learned that with PPLAAF, I had an unprecedented opportunity to denounce them, I wanted to make my modest contribution to my country.
A whistleblower is a person who discloses information about actions that are unlawful, illicit, or against the public interest, particularly those they have witnessed in the context of their work.
